No, it's strung on black thread with loops in the end which the ribbon is stitched to. I couldn't fit some of the smaller beads onto the ribbon :)

I've heard tiger tail wears through polymer clay, so I avoided that! It's linen thread, supposedly for upholstery and carpets, so I figured if it was tough enough for furniture it was probably tough enough for jewellery!

Lol! I agree. I have a few things made of polymer, & haven't had a prob, but I don't wear them much. Partly because they scratch easy. I'm glad you mentioned that.

The beads you made are beautiful. They feel very victorian but are jazzed up to work with all the rest. Impressive!
